I know that summer has officially ended now, but a part of me is still clinging on to summer and refusing to acknowledge the coming of winter.
What better way to live in this denial than to eat ice-cream?
Located in the quaint Gaslight Village (one of my favorite places in Grand Rapids, to be honest), Jersey Junction is tucked away just opposite of D&W.
It spots an outdoor seating on a deck – perfect for the summer (let’s just pretend it’s still summer).
They have everything you need in an ice-cream store, and more – with candy displayed all around, you’re in the right place if you have a sweet tooth.
After looking at the array of flavors they had, I settled for the Seaside Caramel because who doesn’t like salted caramel?
I love the interior of this shop – it has a distinct character and looks really charming.
The ice-cream had strong flavors, and their serving size is as generous as it gets! $2.90 for a single scoop would be a steal in my books.
If you want to grab some ice-cream from them, I suggest you hurry up!
They close for the season on October 31 – now that’s a good scare.
